The release date for Hanker's newest CD will be on Tuesday August 17, 2004 on Skyscraper Music! Head on to the Hanker Web site to listen to some samples in MP3 format, discover the tracklisting, cover art, where to order the CD and more about Web Of Faith.

Web Of Faith record launch:

Here are the details about the record launch of Hanker's newest CD in Quebec City. It will be on Tuesday August 24, 2004 at 5:00 PM («5 to 7» style) at the Liquor Store Cabaret. There will be a full listening session of the new album with footage of their recent trip in Germany. The band will be there to talk with their fans and to sign autographs. Web Of Faith CDs and t-shirts will be also available. Admission is free, there will be a buffet and many prizes drawn. This special event is organized by the Capital Of Metal team. You are all cordially invited.

Furthermore, Web Of Faith record launch in Montreal will be on Thursday September 16, 2004 at 8:00 PM at the Club Soda where Hanker will be the opening act for German Power Metal band Edguy. All details under Show Dates. Note that release date for Web Of Faith in North America will be on Tuesday August 17, 2004.

Web Of Faith t-shirts now available!

The new Hanker t-shirt is now revealed. It's a black t-shirt with the Web Of Faith cover on the front and the set list on the back. They are currently available at Hellion Records, Vision Rock (next Tuesday) and on the Hanker Web site. All details under Order (t-shirt and mail).

Back from Germany!

Hanker have just returned from their tremendous trip in Germany where they played at the Headbangers Open Air festival and at the Headbangers Ballroom in Hamburg. The band members informed me that they had a great time and met great true metal fans and bands! Check out the Web site to read a gig review and see many pictures of Hanker's 2 gigs.

Main additions to the site:

Here are the main additions to the Hanker Web site since the last newsletter: Added new pictures, 3 reviews with pictures of the Helloween/Jag Panzer/Hanker gig in Montreal, a Web Of Faith banner, many new CD and LP reviews of In Our World, The Dead Ringer and Snakes And Ladders. Finally, an interview of Pascal Cliche with Den Of Iniquity, articles featuring Hanker with Schleswig-Holsteinischer (Germany), L'Autre Voix, Le journal de Québec and Le Soleil (in French), the latter about the strong popularity of heavy metal music in Quebec (Canada).
