Hi and welcome to this final Hanker newsletter in 2000. Another year over and Hanker are more ready than ever to hit 2001 in full force in the wake of their new album Snakes And Ladders.

Snakes And Ladders:

The album has been available in Canada since last November 8th to the great pleasure of a multitude of fans. It's been selling well enough to reach number 9 among the best sellers at HMV Laurier (Ste-Foy, Quebec). Regarding its distribution, serious discussions have been going on for Europe and a distribution deal with a major Canadian distributor will be signed in the next few days. Consult our web site regularly as we will keep you posted.

Hanker's Snakes And Ladders T-shirts are currently available through our Web site under Order.

Contest:

A Hanker contest is currently on. You can win one of two prizes: either a Snakes And Ladders CD or a Hanker T-shirt! The deadline for participation is Friday January 5, 2001. The two winner's names will be drawn among all the entrants. All you have to do to participate is to e-mail your name directly to our site under «Contest», where you will find all the details. Main additions to the site:

Here are the main editions to Hanker's official Web site since the publication of our last newsletter. Lots of new stuff on Snakes And Ladders appear under Discography along with two new reviews under Reviews and information on how to buy the album under Order. New show reviews and comments on Hanker's Snakes And Ladders launch party have been added under Gig Reviews. Two stories in the Voir weekly magazine and a wonderful article in Le Soleil daily newspaper under Articles. A third Hanker tab On The Verge Of Tears from the new album can be found under Tabs. A new banner is on display under Download. Improved standardizing and surfing of the site and more to come.
