Things are pretty hectic in the world of Hanker these days as the band will release their new album Snakes And Ladders some time in the fall of 1999. By the way, unsatisfied as they were with the initial artwork, Hanker have now mandated «Graphigne Communications» in Quebec City for the production of some artwork that will meet the High Quality Standards of their new CD. This will, however, somewhat delay the release originally scheduled for mid-September. As soon as the new artwork is completed, we will post it on the Web site. Sound bytes will also be made available.

Talking about Snakes And Ladders, here is the 11 song line-up as it will appear on the album: Ad Patres, The Pardoner, Hail To You, Seven, Save Your Life, Confidence Man, Far From The Cradle, On The Verge Of Tears, Fool's Paradise, The Eternal Struggle, Behind The Curtain.

As for the band's Web site, quite a few changes have been made lately and there are more to come. Quiz #3 is now available. The news will from now on be in French as well. A raving review of The Dead Ringer has been added. A whole bunch of new band pictures will be posted very soon.

Finally, the band will be performing live for the first time since Denis Cossette (bass player) joined the band on Saturday September 11, 1999 at 9:00 pm. All the proceeds will go to «L'Enigme» (Local Youth Organization).
