Hanker celebrate a decade online!
20 years after the creation of the band, Hanker reach another milestone today! Monday June 19, 2006 marks the 10th anniversary of The Official Hanker Web Site! It was on June 19, 1996 that this Web site officially opened. Furthermore, Hanker have had their own domain name (www.hankermetal.com) since September 9, 1999. |

Interview with Pascal at CJLO this Sunday!
 On May 28, CJLO will air Brennan Richer's interview with Hanker lead singer/guitarist Pascal Cliche. The interview was recorded just before the show with Gamma Ray in Montreal on May 6. Tune in this weekend to hear Pascal's musings on German fans and their beer, viking metalheads, the follow up to 2004's Web Of Faith, as well as tons of stories from one of the most respected heavy/power metal acts from Quebec. It all happens this Sunday, May 28 from 6 to 8 PM (Eastern Time). CJLO is the official radio station of Concordia University in Montreal, and the show is called The Almighty Riff. |

Hanker will open for Gamma Ray!
 It's now official; Hanker will be one of the opening acts for both Gamma Ray gigs in Quebec City and Montreal on May 5 and 6! The band members are thrilled to open for this German metal band, which is one of their major influences. Tickets are now available on the Billetech and Ticketpro networks.
