| 2005-11-22 | Hanker - 20 year anniversary! Today, November 22, 2005 marks the 20th anniversary of HANKER! What was once a teenage dream became over the years a formidable adventure marked by live shows and four albums that were all very well received by Canadian and European critics. The current members would like to thank HANKER's former band members, namely Martin Jones, Jean-François Fillion, Luc Guay and Denis Cossette. Furthermore, Pascal, Patrick, Laurent and Sylvain wish to thank all the people who have been involved in HANKER's history since the early days. |

| 2005-08-12 | Hanker have found their new drummer! Less than a month after commencing their search, Hanker have found their new drummer. Sylvain Trembley, 37 years old, will replace Luc Guay. He was a member of the metal band Ice Vinland. Hanker are very pleased and can't wait to present Sylvain to their fans. He will play his first gig with Hanker at the Granada Theatre in Sherbrooke (Quebec) on Thursday September 22. More details on the Web site soon. |
| 2005-07-19 | Drummer Luc Guay leaves Hanker Since Luc Guay will leave Hanker soon, we are looking for a new drummer. If you are interested in joining Hanker, please send your name and other information (with picture, if possible) by e-mail. There are no hard feelings about his leaving and the band is still very motivated and optimistic about the future. We wish the best of luck to Luc with his future projects. Note that Luc will play the two upcoming Hanker gigs in September as opener for Angra. |
| 2005-02-21 | Hanker have found their new bassist! After more than 3 months of search and several auditions at their rehearsal room, Hanker have finally found their new bassist. Laurent Imbeau, a 19 years old bassist, will replace Denis Cossette. He is native of Château-Richer, a town near Beaupré (Hanker's hometown). The band is very pleased and enthusiastic and can't wait to present Laurent to their fans at their 2 upcoming gigs with Angra in September. More details on the Web site soon. |
| 2005-02-08 | Web Of Faith in double vinyl format!Hanker's newest album Web Of Faith is now available in double vinyl format from Hellion Records in Germany! The album contains 2 unreleased bonus tracks, the 1998 demo versions of Ad Patres and Behind The Curtain from Snakes And Ladders released in 2000. The double album is available in blue and clear vinyl, and each version is limited to 250 copies. Hanker's 4 full studio releases are therefore all available in vinyl format!
