| 2002-11-26 | Hanker - 17 years old and still alive! Friday, November 22, 2002 marked the 17th anniversary of the band's formation! That's right, Hanker was formed on November 22, 1985! 17 years later, Hanker is still alive and well in spite of the many «snakes» met in the course of their career. The band now have six songs completed for the upcoming album due next year. |

| 2002-08-21 | Hanker forum now online! A new discussion forum fully dedicated to Hanker is now open to everyone! It is hosted and moderated by Michel Renaud of the excellent Metal Crypt Web site. You can talk about Hanker with other fans. For example, there is a thread asking you what's your favourite Hanker album. Some other threads talk about what's the weirdest band song and a Hanker DVD. You must register if you want to post (simply click on «register» in the forum and fill the form). Note that you can post threads in either English or French. Feel free to come discuss about Hanker on the online forum. |
| 2002-06-19 | More details about the upcoming CD! Hanker have just finished recording a raw 2 track demo CD of their upcoming album. It sounds very good for a raw demo and the songs are excellent! The songs are pure Hanker and believe me, you will not be disappointed! The 2 songs are Empower and Under Cover Of Darkness. The band has shipped this demo to some metal record labels that have shown interest in Hanker lately. The band has been in a very creative mood since the beginning of the year and now have 14 songs to choose from for their next album! No specific date yet for the upcoming release of their fourth album. |

| 2002-03-22 | Hanker vinyls now available! In Our World and Snakes And Ladders are now available in vinyl format in about twenty countries in Europe and Asia through Greek label Cult Metal Classics. Both albums are released as a deluxe vinyl limited edition including lyrics and photos of the band. Note that the In Our World LP contains 2 bonus songs, just like In Our World Revisited.
